Kisara Nanjo “Valkyrie The 8th Fist” Alternative names – Valkyrie, 南條 キサラ, 8th Fist. Voiced (Japanese) – Minami Takayama. Voiced (English) – Colleen Clinkenbeard. Age – Unknown. Affiliation – (Ex-Ragnarok) & Shinpaku Alliance. Type – Dou. Martial Arts – Tae Kwon Do. First Appearance – Chapter 12.

Kisara Nanjo was the 8th fist of Ragnarok. Kisara is a Tae Kwon Do expert mostly utilizing in her kicks. Being treated weak because she is a girl and due to past experience of her opponents claiming they let her win because she is female, she always tries to exceed to prove that she is just as capable as any male fighter. In the series she develops respect for Kenichi as he guards against her attacks without fighting back, as she tried to ruin Miu’s school play. It is revealed that Kisara has a very soft spot for kittens as she had one called Noir, who ended up dying trying to protect her from an encounter with a stray dog. In the series she is seen to be helping a stray kitten find a new home and is supported by Kenichi and Miu. In this process she is attacked by the Valkyries, Freya’s subordinates and her former gang. She is unable to fight back at full strength as she attempts to protect the kitten at the same time, however she is aided by Kenichi and Shigure, where Shigure is seen to defeat all the Valkyries with just the use of a wooden spoon because Kenichi persuaded her to not use her sword. After the fight with Freya and the Valkyries she decided to resign from Ragnarok and was convinced to join the Shinpaku Alliance by Siegfried. Niijima used her love for cats as an advantage and presented her with three kittens if she was to join, and she accepted. Kisara later develops different fighting styles that specialize in cat movements.

Yuma Chiaki “Thor The 7th Fist” Alternative names – Thor, The 7th Fist, 千秋 祐馬. Voiced (Japanese) – Naomi Kusumi. Voiced (English) – None. Age – Unknown. Affiliation – (Ex-Ragnarok) & Shinpaku Alliance. Type – Dou. Martial Arts – Sumo. First Appearance – Chapter 70.

Yuma Chiaki known as Thor was the 7th fist of Ragnarok. He fights using the sumo fighting style and joined Ragnarok to make his specific fighting style mainstream. Thor holds great respect and honour whilst fighting as he considers the rules of combat as a top priority. He use to run a fighting ring in which he first met Kenichi and was challenged by him. Certain conditions were placed before the fight such as if Kenichi came out as victorious Yuma would have to leave Ragnarok and if Yuma won Kenichi would have to train under him as a subordinate. Kenichi was victorious as the fight came to a close and Yuma resigned from Ragnarok and swore to never fight again. He later joins the Shinpaku Alliance as he is convinced by Siegfried who is his best friend and comrade. Yuma believed that Shinpaku Alliance is made up of true fighters unlike his previous gang Ragnarok. Thor and Hermit later come to rescue Niijima when he is surrounded by Ragnarok, he did this from the request of Siegfried. He managed to defeat Loki’s subordinates and hold of Ragnarok even though he promised never to fight again. He used this as an excuse to practice his techniques. He is named Thor after the Norse God of Thunder.

Natsu Tanimoto “Hermit The 6th Fist” Alternative names – The Hermit, The 6th Fist, 谷本夏. Voiced (Japanese) – Ryo Horikawa. Voiced (English) – Jason Liebrecht. Age – Unknown. Affiliation – (Ex-Ragnarok) & Shinpaku Alliance and YOMI. Type – Dou. Martial Arts – Hikaken and Hakkyoken. First Appearance – Chapter 48 – (Revealed in chapter 49).

Hermit was the 6th fist of Ragnarok. He specialises in the martial arts of Hakkyoken which the learned from Sougetsu Ma, his master and older brother of Kensei Ma the Master of Ryozanpaku. Hermit goes to the same school as Kenichi and has the name of Natsu Tanimoto, at school he is the president of the drama club and comes across as kind and soft character due to him being considered as the school ”prince”. Natsu pretended to befriend Kenichi, but secretly despises him and his “false” justice. When he fights Kenichi the fight ends in a draw and Natsu has no choice but to withdraw, and decides to train more for a rematch. In his return he ends up saving Honoka from a group of thugs and Honoka ended up going to his home, where she manages to break most of his things. Honoka befriends him and he grows fond of her because she reminds him of his younger sister. Its later is revealed to him that Honoka is Kenichi’s sister and this is a shock to Hermit, he becomes angered at Loki for using her as bait just to get to Kenichi but doesn’t go against his orders as Loki claims they are from Ogata. When Ryuto tells him that Loki had deceived him and Tanimoto leaves Ragnarok. After resigning from Ragnarok he is constantly stalked and pestered by Niijima to join the Shinpaku Alliance, but always refuses to Niijimas request. He later goes to the aid of the Shinpaku Alliance with Thor, In this final stand against Ragnarok he faces off with Berserker and defeats him.

Hibiki Kugenin “Siegfried The 5th Fist” Alternative names – Siegfried, The 5th Fist, ジークフリート. Voiced (Japanese) – Mitsuaki Madono. Voiced (English) – None. Age – Unknown. Affiliation – (Ex-Ragnarok) & Shinpaku Alliance. Type – Sei. Martial Arts – Go no Sen & Wing Chun. First Appearance – Battle 48.

Hibiki Kugenin or known as Siegfried was the 5th fist of Ragnarok. He has a very unique approach to fighting as he is usually seen to compose music and uses his battle’s as an inspiration for him melodies. He sings classical music and often sings “La la la la” during his fights and names him attacks after different music compositions. He comes across as a very determined character and a “strong spirit” by always getting up on his feet, even after a beat down. His fighting style mostly concentrates on using counters and constantly dodging his opponents attacks in the last second, even sometimes falling down to the floor to fool his opponents. He is later defeated in the series by Kenichi with an unexpected attack which caught him completely off guard, this opened Siegfried’s eyes and he went on a journey to rediscover himself. After a while it was revealed that Siegfried came across Niijima in his journey and was convinced by him to join the Shinpaku Alliance. Siegfried now serves as one of Shipaku’s top captains and a personal guard to Niijima. He is named after Sigurd, a hero in Norse mythology.
